Walk to School Day is a part of “Walk Nashville Week”. This event is organized by the Community Health & Wellness Team and supported by the Metro Public Health Department. By walking on this day, we show support for healthier children, safer streets, a cleaner environment, and a stronger community. Walk to School Day takes place in October. DuPont Elementary gathers in the Old Hickory Church of Christ parking lot and we then walk to school as a group.
